About This Game
Eva's life of crime has caught up with her. Exiled from her syndicate and pursued by both the law and the ruthless criminal underworld, she faces a desperate gamble: infiltrate the enigmatic Husk for a slim chance at redemption - to save a life instead of take one. This colossal megastructure, appearing sporadically within the gravity well of a gas giant, is said to hold secrets beyond human comprehension... and no one who's ventured inside has ever returned.
FEATURES
Vertical exploration: Traverse vast industrial landscapes and climb towering abandoned architecture. Grapple, leap, and shoot your way through massive levels where getting lost is not a failure, it's the entire point.
Emergent navigation: Identify traversable paths from a distance and improvise routes based on your current tools and stats. There are often multiple ways to reach your destination.
Dual Grappling Hooks: Use your dual grappling hooks to climb massive concrete structures, but be careful: they cannot pierce metal or glass surfaces.
Combat simplicity, brutal power: Wield a single high‑tech handgun with the artillery force of a tank. No unwieldy weapon clutter; just you, your handgun, and the unlucky sucker at the other end of the barrel.
Exploration rewards: Discover hidden resources and rare gems to upgrade six core stats, unlocking new traversal abilities, combat tech, and secret areas.
Multiple paths, no invisible walls:Â Every building has collision, and every ledge can be reached - if you have the tools.
Uncover the mysteries of The Husk: Its origin, its purpose, and the legends of alien technology capable of bending time, space, and even death.
SETTING
The colossal structure, colloquially known as the “Husk” by the wider populace, stands as the largest artificial entity ever discovered in space. A gargantuan ecumenopolis shellworld of enigmatic origin, it materializes abruptly within a local gas giant’s gravity well every 2.67 years, lingering for a fleeting 24 days before vanishing without a trace, leaving only subtly disrupted planetary orbits in its wake. Despite its immense size (roughly three times Earth’s diameter and twice its mass) the Husk appears utterly abandoned, devoid of obvious signs of life. It features design and technology so advanced that it’s estimated to be 10,000 years until humanity would be capable of the technology and logistics to be able to construct an artificial planet of similar size and technological capability.
Scientists theorize the Husk utilizes localized gravitational dimming zones to create habitable environments within its depths, but concrete evidence remains elusive. No sanctioned or unauthorized research expedition has ever returned from its dark, damp corridors. Time and space themselves contort around the shellworld, manifesting strange occurrences and inexplicable phenomena for those who dare approach. A pervasive sense of foreboding and unease hangs heavy upon anyone who lays eyes upon it.
This unsettling reality has prompted the Planetary Body Administration (PBA), a military branch of the current dynastic regime, to establish a strict 5 AU exclusion zone around the anomaly. Approaching the Husk carries a minimum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, while failure to comply with authority results in death. This ironclad enforcement deters most, but whispers persist of a profound power the PBA fiercely guards within: alien technology rumored to control time, space, and even resurrect the dead.
Driven by visions of fame, fortune, and glory, intrepid treasure hunters and thrill-seekers, dubbed “voidwalkers” by the media, circumvent PBA patrols, venturing into the Husk’s enigmatic embrace. And like the research expeditions before them, they would find that before their end, the Husk had more hidden secrets than their wildest imaginations.
